This is a Half day walking tour where you will be shown some of the marvelous architectural wonders of Marrakech as an exotic destination that lives off its looks and its wits.
You will meet your guide for a half day tour that includes the most interesting sites of this red city starting from the Medrassa Ben Youssef, the largest theological college in the Maghreb and an outstanding achievement of the Moorish architecture which served as students hope until 1959.
After that, you will visit the museum of Marrakech which was the palace of the Moroccan defense minister in the 19th century, where the carved stucco is among the most intricate in the palaces of Marrakech. The tour will continue through the alleys of the Medina with a visit to the most interesting handicrafts quarters such as the leather auction, tinsmiths, and coppersmiths. We join the big square of Jemaa El Fna, the city’s main square. No one really knows how it came into being, but over the years it has become the beating heart of Marrakech. We stroll through the labyrinthine streets back to the Riad or to the big square of Jemaa Lefna..
